tried and true recipe: simple homemade-without-an-ice-cream-maker ice cream!

WOW!

(This picture also has nothing to do with this post, but is a funny picture of Connie playing around with the Google Hangout toys.)

Two recipes in a week!

This is the easiest recipe ever.

Homemade Ice Cream!
(found on a blog somewhere, not sure which site because all I have is a screen shot of the recipe)

Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pint heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons of vanilla
optional stuff: fudge, m&ms, chocolate chips, cookie pieces, berries, fruit, whatever!

1. Mix all 3 ingredients in a big bowl with an electric mixer until thick whipped peaks form.
2. Fold in optional ingredients.
3. Put the batter into a baking pan (I use a glass loaf pan), cover with saran, and freeze for 8 hours.

When I serve this, it's usually in small amounts because it is SUPER rich. One scoop is plenty. :)
