A growing vocabulary

Jonas is quite the talker these days. He's been putting two and three words together and even has taken to reciting about 30% of the alphabet. We (actually, probably just me) were a little concerned that he'd taken so long to start talking, but now that he's started, it seems that he doesn't want to stop. We often wake up hearing Jonas call for "Gordeeeee! Gordeeeee!" (which is what he calls Gordon, his favorite Thomas train.)

Here are some of the words he's added to his vocabulary:
-"ah-ma" (yes! he's finally saying my name!)
-"orse" (horse)
-"duks" (duck)
-"behbee" (baby)
-he'll say "behbee ____" for baby animals
-"go go!"
-"thtop" (stop)
-"thoop" (soup)
-"baht" (bap which is Korean for rice)
-"num num" (yum yum)
-"throg" (frog)
-"namen" (Amen)
-"Jo-as" (Jonas!)
-"papa" (for the little grey haired lego person he affectionately thinks looks like Jeff's dad)
-many many animals sounds...
-"cook" (cookie)
-"dopo" (po-do which is Korean for grape)
-"appo" (apple)
-"tobas" (Thomas)
-"gordeeee" (Gordon)
-"jase" (James)
-"koooo" (cool!)
etc., etc....

There are definitely more, but I hear him getting up from his nap and (surprise!) asking for Gordeeeeee! :)

Isn't it funny the words they decide to say?! (Like the lego "papa")

C'mon ... you know that "Tobas" is him trying to say TOBIAS, for Toby! ;)

Isn't it awesome when they start talking? One of my favorite parts of them growing up!
